Yay! The weekend is here and we have a ton of plans, don’t we? Plans to go on a dinner date or a movie. Plans to dance the night away or go brunching with your friends on a Sunday. And maybe you lucked out and have a weekend trip to go on too? It’s always great when you have exciting plans on the weekend, but now it’s time to plan your outfits. Don’t worry, this doesn’t need to be stressful. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, beach babe, die-hard sports fanatic, or boozy brunch-er still trying to hit your party quota before sundown, there’s an outlet — and outfit — for everyone.
I’ve put together a few outfit inspirations to help you get your weekend started.
Girls Night Out
Going out on a Saturday night with friends is a must on the weekend. A fun evening calls for a statement dress or skirt and simple accessories. Play around with prints. If you’re not the one to experiment with prints, go monochromatic.
Movie Date
Opt for comfy joggers or a striped dress with sneakers for a movie date. Don’t forget to either carry a shirt or a thin wrap, that you can tie around your waist and use incase it gets cold in the theatre.
Brunching
Enjoy a lazy meal and good gossip with friends in a cool double denim look or an easy boho look that’s sure to impress your girlfriends.
Dinner Date
You can pick either styles to go on a dinner date. Pretty in pastel or rocker cool in a printed tee with a skirt and ankle booties. Both are great dinner looks, that will definitely impress your date.
None of these outfits require much more than a few cool layers, everyday denim, and a great pair of booties or sneakers. All you’ve got to do is pick out the right dress, handbag and shoes. It’s street-styled proof that you don’t need to lose any sleep plotting the perfect brunch look.
