Himanshu Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar‘s rocking jodi has won all our hearts with their adorable camaraderie and sizzling performances in Nach Baliye 7. Everyone loves them because they are #TooMuch fun. That’s exactly why MissMalini decided to catch up with the duo yesterday. And considering the couple has many fans across the globe, we pick a few lucky ones to be a part of our Google Hangout and they chatted live with Himanshoo and Amruta!
Both of them looked super cute together and shared many sweet things about their relationship during the interaction. “It has been a 11-year long journey and we’ve spent so many beautiful moments together. But there was a time when we had gone to Europe for 17 days, that was the first time when we traveled together and we really had a fantastic time. The most special moment was when we were on the top of the Eiffel tower,” revealed Himanshu when he was asked about his most memorable moment with Amruta.
And the chatterbox that she is, Amruta unknowingly ended up giving us some amazing love lessons while talking about love and Himanshoo. Here are 6 things that we learned from her about relationships.
1. Sometimes love knocks at your door unexpectedly…
I did not get him. He just walked in.
2. Opposites attract!
I am very uncomfortable being romantic. I can be funny, I can be all over the place. I can be anything but romantic. He is completely the opposite.
3. You accept each other in EVERY avatar.
I always wear one statement necklace, which is my Mangalsutra. Today I am not wearing it. I had to convince Himanshoo. I told him, ‘We are going to MissMalini, today I want to look tip-top and prim and proper!’ Usually I am very jhalli when it comes to dressing. I don’t like spending hours and hours in front of the mirror. If you are a nice happy glowing face, you’re wearing the best thing in the world!
4. Sometimes it’s great to be together apart…
We’ve gotten so comfortable with me just watching TV and him reading a book in one room… We talk about anything under the sun.
5. Keep it sweet and salty!
It’s not always sailing smoothly. You have to take all the ups and downs that come your way with a pinch of salt. Just leave everything behind. Forgive and forget. Kahin na kahin woh insaan aapko important lagna chahiye woh choti choti cheezon ke aage. Bas wahi mantra hai.
6. You can compete with each other and yet be crazy about one another…
Punjabis ko bahut khushi se naachna pasand hai. My most toughest competitor is Himanshoo. I do the right steps but Marzi says, ‘Himanshoo tune itna accha kiya, Amruta what happened to you?’ And I am like, ‘But I did the right stuff.’ But he was enjoying his performance!
