In a strange twist of events, a male model walked down the runway at Paris Fashion Week and once he reached the head ramp, he unfurled a sign that said “Please Kill Angela Merkel – NOT”

Angela Merkel is a German Politician and the Chancellor of Germany. The model who flashed the sign did it during the Rick Owens show at fashion week and as clarified by the designer, his act was NOT supposed to be a part of the show. He was so furious that once the model returned backstage, he actually punched him in anger!
Here’s what he told WWD
It’s a crazy, rogue, f***ing model that I punched when he came back out. Please say that I punched him.
An official statement was later released by the team and it requested everyone to blur out the words if they used the image and that Rick Owens does not take any responsibility for the models act.
