Yesterday, I informed you guys how Ranbir Kapoor didn’t make it to Deepika Padukone‘s recent Piku success bash. And that’s because he’s still rather upset about the negativity surrounding his recent release, Bombay Velvet. But instead of being disappointed because of his absence, DP empathised with RK Jr.’s pain. However, the actress was completely disheartened with someone else’s absence at the do. That’s none other than her Piku co-star, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
To everyone’s surprise superstar didn’t make his presence felt at the do. In fact, he wasn’t even included in the guest list. When DP was asked why she didn’t invite Big B to her party, she regretfully said:
It was a major technical error on my part and by the time it came to my notice it was too late and I’ll never forgive myself for it. I am so embarrassed that I have not even had the courage to call him after that. I did eventually text him, couple of days ago but I have still not had the courage to pick up the phone and even explain myself to him. But I will. It was a major technical thing.
The large-hearted man that our Big B is, I’m sure you will be forgiven instantly, DP. So pick up the phone and call him already!
