Salman Khan

Like I mentioned this morning, the brouhaha about the Salman Khan verdict has finally settled down and the actor is now back to work. He’s currently shooting for Kabir Khan‘s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir and now has been joined by his co-star, Kareena Kapoor (check out these photos of Bebo chilling in Sonmarg with her entourage). Recently, the local media in Kashmir managed to catch up with Sallu bhai for a quick chat. Talking about his experience of working in Kashmir, the actor said:

We’re stupid to go to Switzerland. There is no other place on planet Earth that is as beautiful as Kashmir.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Salman was also quizzed about his legal battle and here’s what he replied:

My problems are too small compared to what is happening in the world. I don’t know if I deserve so much love but I am accepting it. I sincerely owe a lot to everyone who has stood by me. I will do whatever it takes to make a person’s life better… For me politics is social work and I will continue doing that.

The superstar, who is extremely loved by the Kashmiris, has even adopted a local family there. So a journalist asked him whether he would like to be the brand ambassador of Jammu & Kashmir. He quipped:

Why only Kashmir? I will become the brand ambassador of India.

Clearly, the Bollywood bhai‘s sense of humour is still intact!
