Beyoncé‘s hair wasn’t supposed to be a high ponytail for the MET Gala 2015. It was supposed to be an asian-inspired chignon that was changed last minute in… get this… an elevator! BOOM. Mind is blown.
Psst… for those of you who don’t remember elevator-gate from last year’s MET Ball after party, shame on you.
Moving along, Bey’s hairstylist Neal Farinah said in an interview,
Then we were in the elevator on the way down, and she looks at me and says ‘Neal, I want to change my hair, will you change my hair?‘ And I said, ‘Honey, there could be cameras in the elevator.
L-O-L right? I can’t believe he said that. And then he proceeded to ask her what she wanted to do with her hair because she felt it was too costume-like. The answer, of course, was a high ponytail, which is exactly what she got. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Seriously though, 5 minutes? In an elevator? Bey knows what she wants and definitely goes for it! That’s why we love her.
