Last week was filled with only the #SalmanVerdict action and in all the drama, I almost overlooked the possibility of someone from the movie business picking up the plot and making a full fledged film about it. That’s right! Reportedly, South Indian directer A.M.R Ramesh is working on a film that’s based on the controversial Sunanda Pushkar murder case. Titled Game, the movie apparently also has parts that are inspired from Salman Khan‘s infamous hit-and-run case.
Previously, Ramesh has made another controversial flick called Cyanide, which was based on PM Rajiv Gandhi‘s assassination and he recently gathered media attention for wanting to make a film on dacoit Veerappan.
When asked about Game, he said:
I neither deny nor affirm the speculation, but the movie is about the investigation of a mysterious murder. Manisha Koirala plays the victim’s role as Arjun Sarja probes the mysterious case in the movie. As for rumours that the movie dwells on Salman’s case, there is a connection. There are scenes of a hit-and-run case which is similar to ‘current’ developments. There is also a great message, which I leave to the audience to decipher.
Well, that sure is interesting (to say the least). What are your thoughts? Tell me in the comments below!
