Didn’t we all love the bittersweet love story of Suhani and Aditya in Saathiya? The film had struck a chord with the masses and had touched the hearts of many. Essayed beautifully by Rani Mukerji and Vivek Oberoi, the lead characters had weaved magic on screen. And even years after the film’s release, most of us still get excited whenever the flick plays of TV.
So I’m sure it would be great to see Rani and Aditya as Suhani and Aditya on celluloid again.
Perhaps Shaad Ali should direct a sequel to the movie! Perhaps he will.
The director recently posed for a selfie with Rani and popular casting director, Shanoo Sharma. Not many know this but even Shanoo had played a role in Saathiya as the couple’s friend. Hence, when Shaad, Rani and Shanoo got photographed together, it was nothing less than a Saathiya reunion. Here’s what Shanoo tweeted:
While the picture is quite cute, it would have definitely been cuter if Vivek was part of it too. Here’s hoping that this off-screen reunion soon translates on screen.
