Margaery Tyrell is my new hero. Which means I pray every night hoping she won’t die in the next episode! While she very aptly schooled her mom-in-law Cersei Lannister, King Tommen Baratheon seems to be overly infatuated with her – to be honest, after episode 3, I am too. Speaking of infatuated, Jon Snow in his new authoritative role just gets hotter and hotter. Plus he seems to be a bit like his dad after that not-too-shocking execution, don’t you think? On the other side of the world is little Arya Stark who seems a bit different, while her sister is about to tie the knot, yet again (sigh). And then there were the costumes…
Like mom-in-law, like daughter-in-law?
Does anyone else feel like now that Margaery is married to Cersei’s son, she’s been dressing a little like her as well? The braids, clothes and necklace – everything seems a bit similar.
The prostitutes in Volantis are more stylish
…don’t you agree? The patterned, shaded gowns, arm cuffs and even tattoos to mark them – these women take fashion and accessorising quite seriously.
Arya’s new clothes
If you thought Arya was a bit dark inside, think again. She showed you just a fraction of the dark side but I feel like with her change in clothes, and the shedding of her belongings (why needle, why!) it’s about to get a whole lot darker.
P.S. I feel like both my favourite characters, Tyrion Lannister and Khaleesi are about to meet, so obviously I can’t wait for next week!
You can watch them all with the world on HBO Defined, every Monday at 6:30am or 10pm.
