Got 10 minutes? That’s all the time you need, to know about day 3 at the FDCI Presents Amazon Indian Fashion Week. As the beat went on, show after show, model after model, the experience always boils down to watching modern fashion trends come alive with a designer’s personal style that seems to captivate the audience.
Now as the day started off with Paromita Banerjee and Tanvi Kedia‘s show, it displayed varied levels of fashion perfection. Paromita’s collection exhibited layered textures in stable and muted tones. Comfort was key with this collection as the models strutted the runway in what seemed to be a fashion first – Converse! Whereas Tanvi’s A/W’15 showcased vibrant and colourful hues with embroidered and draped garments.
Eleven Eleven and Eka showed us that little goes a long way. A lot of people-spotting was seen on the runway at the Eleven Eleven show like editor Ekta Rajani and makeup artist Elton J Fernandez. Keeping it easy and simple in drapy silhouettes and sturdy colours, a ton was set for an effortless look. Eka took my mind back to a Parisian chic style. Romantic and contemporary touches with colours like cream, beige and a dash of yellow vibrance on the side brought to life my Parisian fantasy.
Up next, Anupama Dayal gave new meaning to easy boho. Chiffons, cotton brocades with a mixture of red, sand and pale blue, captured an empowered Mughal feel. Sanchita‘s A/W’15 collection was a little edgy when it came to the hair but the sporty-chic outfits left us loving the look. Especially when there’s a little sparkle involved!
Now, Laser lights, spot lights and a few plunging necklines took Namrata Joshipura‘s collection to the next level. With so much fierceness on the runway, for me, these models appeared as goddesses wearing soft glimmering pieces of sublimity. Pankaj & Nidhi concluded day 3 with gemstones and some really cool eyewear. We were left speechless and enthralled! To check out more from the show click here.
This was the result of all these designer’s stunning creations. What did you guys think? Which was your favourite on the runway. Also keep a look out for more updates coming your way!
