So, I don’t know if you’ve heard but Frozen 2 is officially confirmed. Yay! We loved the movie and have wondered what the sequel would be like, ever since. So, while Disney is busy making the sequel, why don’t we just retire to our dream worlds and conjure up a Bollywood adaptation of the same? Sounds good to me! So here are 9 things that would happen if the Oscar winning movie was made in Bollywood.
*WARNING* This movie is highly alluded to KJo movies.
Lights, Camera, ACTION!
1) Directed by Karan Johar.
This movie was a beauty – not just the movie but the entire set! It was AAH-MAZING! And we know that when it comes to set design, it’s only KJo’s team that could make it as simple and glamourous. Also, the movie would be set in a place like Chicago or New York!
2) Kareena Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
They are both KJo’s favourites and also suit the role of Elsa and Anna, respectively. Who better than Kareena Kapoor to play the ‘ice queen’ and Parineeti Chopra beside her to compliment her with sisterly love.
3) Plane Crash!
Yup, forget the sea, this movie is big budget! it’s got to be a plane crash that kills the parents – a private plane, mind you!
4) Anna sent to a hostel.
Anna gets sent to a hostel until Elsa and her grow older. And when she returns she tries everything in her power to get her sister to talk to her… no matter how rude Elsa is (remember K3G’s Laddoo?)
5) Enter villain!
And the villain enters – aka Ranveer Singh. Villain ho toh aisa! The evil prince who wishes to profit from the sisters’ estate.
6) Elsa’s departure.
Poor, innocent Elsa leaves her ‘kingdom’ after a fight with her sister and her people accusing her of being an ‘evil queen.’ No one knows her whereabouts – she leaves them with the curse of year-round snow. (Hence, no more Tina or Pooh – no more chote kapde.)
7) Anna’s true love.
When Anna sets out to find her sister, she meets a ‘high-class’ roadside romeo – Kristoff (played by Ranbir Kapoor) who helps her. In their mission they encounter Olaf (Team MissMalini’s Pocket) who was once saved by Elsa.
8) Finally finding Elsa.
After unknowingly crossing paths and several missed chances, they finally find Elsa. Wonder where she was? Well, she has gone to the President of the United States to tell him, “My name is Elsa, and I’m not an evil queen!” (Also, E’L’sa from the rolling of the tongue!)
9) Happy ending!
Elsa wins back her kingdom, Anna and Kristoff get married; and yes, let’s not forget, Olaf joins the family. And they all live happily ever after!
KJo, are you reading this?
