Check this out.
The Temple Neckpiece
As a trend, low hanging chunky pendants are going to be the thing for 2015. We spotted this temple neck-piece and styled it with a plain white tank and monochromatic drawstring trousers. The trick to working this long neck-piece lies in keeping your look balanced with clean lines and a casual-girl format.
The jhumka earrings at the club and bangles as cuffs
Yup! You read it right. Taking jhumkas to the club is a real thing. I think it comes from those hippy girls or pop culture influencers like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna. I suggest you find contemporary jhumkas, like I did at Gehna. I teamed them with a leopard printed shift dress and covered the cuffs with some gold kadas, bangles and bracelets. Because, golden cuffs are way cooler than plain cuffs.
Chunky studs and ornate choker sets.
It’s an old school trick that has made its presence felt on the red carpet and international runways. Brands like D&G and Chanel are known to use chunky ear-studs and match them with ornate neck-pieces. That’s exactly what I did here with a navy blue skater dress.
Contemporary neckpieces
If you’re truly looking to make an impression then we’ve found just the piece for you. Try this stunning neck-piece by Azva at Gehna. Designs like this are the latest must-haves in gold neck-wear. Their modern design charm gives them an edge over the rest. To match its gorgeousness, we worked it with this pretty dress by Yogesh Chaudhary’s Surendri.
Geometric cuffs
Now here’s a trend that really works well with a range of looks. Geometric cuffs and bracelets are perfect to add that hint of elegance to a pretty look. I used this cuff with cut-out circles and trapped it between two gold bangles. In fact, stacking bangles is a street trend of the ’80s and I just tried to use it in more polished set-up with this white dress by Yogesh Chaudhary’s Surendri.
These were just a few key pieces that are now trending in 22k gold jewellery. And we’re totally crushing on them. Follow #LoveGold on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to know what’s hot and in vogue in gold. And for your style tips and tricks, you have us at MissMalini.
