Aamir Khan‘s Dangal, where he plays a wrestler, is stuck – because no one is ready to play his daughter in the film! Initially, there was buzz that Kangana Ranaut would play the role, and then we heard Tapasee Pannu‘s name doing the rounds. Now, there is talk that Radhika Apte might audition for the film. The reason the role is tricky is because it’s not only short, but also has very few scenes with Aamir. The daughter’s character apparently comes in during the second half, and, for the most part, has interactions with other supporting cast. So it seems like there’s not too many people who are willing to sign on the dotted line for it!
Dangal will have Aamir play three different age groups and hence he was recently spotted with his salt and pepper beard and hair. The shoot will happen in utmost secrecy and Aamir has plans to even hire a body double and fool the media so that no photos leak out from the shoot. It seems that if everything goes as per schedule, he might end up having an end of the year release with Dangal. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that they sign on someone for his daughter’s role!
