Ever since the video of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor‘s ‘roast’ by roast master Karan Johar and the AIB comedians went online, it has been surrounded with numerous controversies. While the bunch of boys had a lot of positive comments coming their way initially, they were later dissed by various sections of the society across the country. It is being said by many that the crass language used in the show, pollutes the Indian culture. The boys have dished out a letter and took down the video; they even apologized to the Christian community for hurting their sentiments.
But now, a court in Mumbai has ordered an FIR against the AIB boys and KJo. That’s right. Reportedly, a local court has acted on a petition by social activist Santosh Daundkar, who called it a “commercial, vulgar, obscene and pornographic show.”
And the Lucknow police has also registered a FIR against everyone involved in the roast. According to the complaint filed by a Lucknow-based activist, Kailash Chandra Pandey, the show was all about ‘vulgar’ content and goes ‘against Indian culture’.
Sadly, this looks like a never-ending series of controversies revolving around our AIB boys.
