By now, I’m sure all of you know that Aamir Khan didn’t have too many great things to say about the AIB Roast with roast master Karan Johar, along with Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. In fact, he even mentioned how he found it very distasteful. While we respect his opinion, it looks like his wife, Kiran Rao, has an altogether different view about the show.
According to various recent reports, it seems the Dhobi Ghat filmmaker has been telling her friends that she thoroughly enjoyed watching the roast and also strongly believes in the concept of freedom of speech. I have always thought Kiran is quite cool and this bit of information has affirmed that further.
Not to mention, Kiran was also the one who had persuaded Aamir to produce Delhi Belly (which happened to be a slapstick sex comedy) after reading its script. Kudos to Kiran Rao for encouraging humour! 🙂
