Gautam Gulati is back in action on Bigg Boss 8 Halla Bol. And thank God for that! Honestly, I was fed-up of the Karishma Tanna–Upen Patel love story.
#WeAreWithGautam was one of the top trending topics on Twitter till yesterday. This happened after Ali Quli Mirza apparently assassinated Gautam’s character on ‘National Television’ (this seems to be the favourite word of all Bigg Boss contestants) during Wednesday’s episode.
Here’s a quick recap of what happened:
The torture cage task continued for the second day with Pritam Singh and Gautam fighting for the briefcase, which was worth 25 lakhs. To spice up the rather slow and monotonous task, Bigg Boss called Ali and Karishma in the confession room and asked them to instigate either of the two to quit. That’s why I love you, Bigg Boss!
Ali, who is clearly on Pritam’s side, took responsibility of irritating Gautam and getting him out of the cage. He picked a fight with Gautam and made up stories about him being involved with a certain ‘Sumit’ and using him for money.
Gautam left the cage after a spat with Ali, announcing that wouldn’t stoop so low for money #LikeABoss
But this was the calm before the storm! Within few minutes of getting out, Gautam burst into tears and cried for more than half of the episode (no kidding)! He picked fights with Sambhavna Seth, Rahul Mahajan and everyone else for not supporting Ali while he was being an ass.
As expected, his fans got offended and once again, took to Twitter to show their support for their hero. Take a look at some of the best tweets from the trend that will leave you in splits:
