The Bhatts are at it again. For Khamoshiyan, the mandate was simple for their leading lady Sapna Pabbi – she had to be bold, uninhibited and comfortable in her skin while facing the camera. What was pretty obvious was that the London born British-Indian girl had to engage herself in quite a few steamy encounters. The young girl pretty much gave her nod of approval until she got stuck at a point where things became a little too personal between her and leading man Ali Fazal.

As the shooting schedule progressed, the two started getting close to each other. As a result, they were fine with kissing on screen. However, the after effect was felt by Gurmeet. It became awkward between him and Sapna from that point on, though as a thorough professional, Sapna went ahead with the scenes. There was definite tension in the air.
Since the film features quite a few kissing encounters between Sapna and her two male leads, the makers were always on the tenterhooks as to whether there may be a surprise around the corner with any of the three leads going through a change of mind. Fortunately for young director Karan Darra, the shoot progressed smoothly, even as his three leads had to keep their on screen and off screen thoughts aside.

Khamoshiyan is a bold film and all the actors have been quite daring doing the intensely steamy scenes. Sapna was calm and composed and unlike a debutant. She knew why we needed the scenes and she did her job with perfection. She plays a seductress in the film who traps the souls of men by using their bodies and she has really killed it in such scenes. She was very confident while pulling off the scenes, and when an actor does the job convincingly, it adds so much more to what plays on screen and gets narrated through the visuals.
Well, we’re certainly intrigued to see how she pulled this one off! This could certainly be the start of many more steamy encounters on screen.
