If industry insiders are to be believed, Ayushmann Khurrana has opted out of Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab. We had recently told you that ex-flames, Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, will be seen together in the same film after a LONG time. In fact, Sasha had even shared how he never refused to work with Bebo. Naturally, everyone was excited to see them together on screen. Unfortunately, it was later clarified that both of them will be a part of the movie but they won’t be paired opposite each other.
And recent reports suggested that Kareena will be seen sharing screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana (check out how awesome his new nerdy look is!) in the flick. However, it seems he has been asked to leave the project. The actor’s entourage claims that this decision was taken due to his date issues. But it seems Ayushmann looks ‘too young’ with Bebo and that’s why director Abhishek took this call as the movie’s team didn’t want them to share the same frame.
In the past, Bebo had apparently refused to work with Arunoday Singh and had chosen Randeep Hooda instead to work with, in Madhur Bhandarkar‘s Heroine. Perhaps that’s why many are saying that the actress has refused to work with Ayushmann.
We cannot wait to see which actor will replace the Vicky Donor actor in Udta Punjab. Any guesses?
