You heard right. Starting January 6th, 2015, Max Factor is all set to release its new campaign with Marilyn Monroe as Marilyn Monroe and as her real-life avatar, Norma Jeane Baker. The brand claims that Norma entered Max Factor‘s “Blonde room” and was completely transformed by the makeup pioneer. She went from brunette to blonde and became one of the 1940’s most iconic symbols of beauty.
As a beauty brand that practically transformed makeup, it still sells some of Marilyn’s favourite shades, like the red lips that defined the 40s’ and went on to become a classic. Max Factor Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath, described Marilyn’s look as accentuated, lined eyes, creamy skin, and red lips.
We’re really pumped to see the print, TV, and online ads with a vintage twist! Got a favourite Max Factor product? Mine are both the Creme Puff Pressed Powder and the Ruby Tuesday red lipstick!
