Hawaizaada is based on a true story that traces the life of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who invented an airplane years before Wright Brothers did so in America. And our favourite VJ-turned-actor Ayushmann Khurrana plays the lead protagonist in this movie. While I had expected the trailer to be good, this one’s way beyond that. Check it out.
Here are five things that I loved about it.
1. Ayushmann’s nerdy look.
The Punjabi munda is sporting a geeky and formal look in this film. A far cry from his casual appearances in his previous outings, his new on-screen avatar is definitely quite cool.
2. The intriguing storyline.
Yes, the 2 minutes and 40 seconds long trailer gives us a glimpse of the movie, which is enough to grab our attention. Though biopics are trending in Bollywood off late, this one’s definitely a tad different.
3. The old-world charm.
The period flick beautifully encapsulates the era it’s based on. Right from the costumes to the sets, everything seen in this trailer (and the movie) exudes a vintage appeal. And I LOVE it!
4. Ayushmann and Pallavi Sharda’s refreshing jodi.
The young actors look quite good together. It will be interesting to see their chemistry on celluloid.
5. The ‘real’ deal.
Considering Hawaizaada is based on a true story, it makes it all the more interesting.
I am definitely awaiting the release of this movie. What about you?
