Frozen was undoubtedly one of the best movies of 2013! The soundtrack was one of the most popular albums and for good reason, especially Let It Go which wasn’t only Elsa‘s song but also considered the feminist anthem of of the year. The song has since been covered or parodied by a host of fans, singers and even other celebrities, among whom are notable names such as Kristen Wiig, Ellen DeGeneres, Christina Bianco and Rashida Jones. The best one in my opinion was celebrity talk show host Jimmy Fallon‘s performance with the song’s original singer Idina Menzel on his show in March.
The song has also gained a lot of traction with a a number of online videos being created featuring children and adults alike singing the infectious ballad! Seriously just YouTube Let It Go and see the amount of love this song has got. So what are you gonna do it about? Watch the movie which has this iconic song of course! Seriously, as much as I love Disney movies, Frozen is my absolute favourite by far, and I’m sure it’s yours too 🙂 So make that special Christmas pudding, stock up on eggnog and tune into Star Movies today at 1pm to watch the best holiday movie ever! If you have brunch plans, you can watch the movie at 9pm too.
