So I just came back from the awesome Enchanted Valley Carnival (two days spent easily without phone network, it has to be special) at Aamby Valley and needless to say, it was fun. Were you there? In case you were then you’ll totally know what I’m talking about. If you weren’t, then check out my favourite moments from the fun music festival:
1) Monica Dogra’s magical voice
Shaair + Func killed it, to say the least. The crowd was buzzing, the beautiful Monica Dogra was crooning and everyone seemed extremely happy. Maybe it was the music or maybe it was the gorgeous lady herself, but I had never seen the people at the venue happier!
2) The energetic crowd
Enthusiastic, dancy, jumpy and overall completely crazy are the best words to describe the crowd here! A great music concert needs to have an equally ecstatic audience and the people at EVC were exactly that.
3) Alien Chutney!
I’m sucker for humour in any form, even better if it’s incorporated in music – and Alien Chutney are masters of this art! Couldn’t stop laughing at all.
4) The barking girl
We at MissMalini always try to bring you something more than just performances when we cover events, we’re always looking for something more, something extra to add to the madness. With this lady I found exactly that. I don’t know what substance was smoked, what spirit was consumed or what brownie was eaten but this girl (while leaving the premises) decided to bark like a dog at everyone. Yes, she was barking while walking out. My after party began then itself!
5) The after-party
It went on till 4am! Even the people in the surrounding cottages could hear the banging beats!
6) The silent party
How awesome was the fact that we were all dancing together, but to our own tunes with headphones on? Really awesome!
7) Cows
So the cottage I was staying in was inside Aamby Valley and when I was all set to step out to join the festivities, I saw two cows chilling, eating the grass and looking far too cute. Hi cows!

SO. MUCH. FUN.
9) The campsite
The bonding session with other campers, the whole ‘sleeping under the stars‘ feeling, the overall experience was something my friend (who was camping) is going to treasure forever.
10) DAVID GUETTA!
David Guetta killed it. That’s all.
Let’s just say watching him perform live is a point ticked on my bucket list!
