Danny Boyle‘s Slumdog Millionaire fetched Freida Pinto and Dev Patel unimaginable overnight stardom. And the fact that it also gave them each other was an added bonus for the two. Post this film, both the Indian youngsters made waves in Hollywood and also found love in one another. Moreover, it wasn’t just a passing fling. The two were quite serious about their relationship and they have been together for six years now.
But according to a popular US weekly, Freida and Dev have parted ways. Earlier this year, the actress had spoken about their romance during her first appearance on Karan Johar‘s chat show, Koffee With Karan. What’s more, she had even rubbished the rumours of trouble in paradise when her photographs with Sid Mallya had surfaced online.
However, it seems Freida and Dev’s relationship is finally over now. At least that’s what the sources claim. Considering there’s yet to be an official confirmation from the couple’s end, I guess their rooters can continue hoping for now. Time will tell.
