I came across the this video recently and it left me speechless. Being a girl who’s born and raised in India, I could instantly relate to what’s shown here. Yes, I can proudly boast of the fact that I stay in one of the safest cities for women across the nation – Mumbai. But that’s only because most other places are perhaps not safe at all. I don’t want to get into a Delhi v/s Mumbai debate here nor am I interested in playing a blame game. What I am interested in is hoping for a better tomorrow in this country. We worship women idols but often forget to treat the real ones right. Be it at the station or a local market, we often find men leching at us in a way that leaves us feeling disgusted. But unfortunately, it sometimes feels like there’s nothing much we can do except overlooking and ignoring them. Check out this video to know exactly what I am talking about.
