One of the biggest phenomenons in makeup is the art of contouring and highlighting to shape your face. What does that mean exactly? You use dark shades to emphasize the contours of your face which can make your cheeks bones more prominent, sculpt your jawline, etc. Using lighter shades can highlight dark under eyes, make your lips look more pouty, and it can help narrow the bridge of your nose.
In our latest beauty school video we show you exactly how to contour & highlight. To start off with though, you’ll need a few products. I always start with cream products first, topped with foundation, and then set with powder products. I’ve listed my favorite products below.
The cream products I’m obsessed with at the moment are:
The Nars Multiple Stick in Vientiane
The MAC Studio Conceal & Correct Palette
Set it all with the holy grail of contour/highlight-ing products – The Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit
