In case you missed all our tweeting and Instagram-ing the other night, our whole team partied the night away at a popular Mumbai hotspot: The White Owl! Why were we partying, you ask? Well, because we can (remember our Halloween Hangover Party) and because Season 1 of MissMalini’s World on TLC India just wrapped up! We had so much fun shooting the first season of our show. So much so, that I (in a slightly inebriated state) quipped that “Working at #MMWorld is like Disney Land for grown ups. It’s our happy place!”
And happy we were at The White Owl thanks to their amazing staff, who look like they’d stepped out of a 50s’ Hollywood movie. In fact, the entire grunge, shabby chic vibe of the bar has a 50s’ feel to it. They kept the cocktails or “owltails“, as they call it, flowing throughout the night … always double. That’s probably why it hit all of us real fast, but we had scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, like gourmet burgers and house mac n’ cheese, for a little balance. And not to mention, we danced away to the music that was a great mix of different genres, unlike a lot of other bars and lounges in Mumbai. And well, we don’t remember too much else, so take a look at some of our pictures and relive our night!
