Over the last few months, Katrina Kaif has been secretly bonding with someone in Bollywood. She and Rekha, it seems, have been getting along quite well – but it isn’t just because they are working together in Abhishek Kapoor‘s Fitoor. It’s also because Rekha is totally bowled over by Kat’s beauty. Sources reveal that Rekha, who doesn’t really like using her cell phone too much, spends a good deal of time catching up with Kat by calling her from the landline. Those who have been in the same room as these beauties reveal that they have formed a mutual admiration society, so much so that their lead actor Aditya Roy Kapoor has to constantly remind them that he’s on the set as well.
It seems that, before working on this film, Kat watched a few Rekha films just so that she could make small talk, break the ice and avoid any awkwardness. She hardly watches any films, but Kat asked for DVDs of all of Rekha’s iconic roles and work. From what I hear, Rekha was touched by this gesture – she even praised Kat’s work in Raajneeti and told her that those are the kind of roles she should strive to do!
