They might be overshadowed by their successful older siblings sometimes, but there are certain things these one-hit wonder star siblings have done which cemented their names in Bollywood forever! Curious to find out what these things are? Want to know what I’m talking about? Read on. Feel free to add your favourite underrated one-hit wonders too! Don’t forget to mention their unforgettable contributions to Bollywood. Special thanks to Mallika and Devanshi from Team MissMalini for their priceless contributions!
1) Uday Chopra
Come on, we know Uday Chopra is awesome! More than anything else I love how self deprecating he is. However annoying he might seem to be in the Dhoom series or Mohabbatein, he was frankly the only good thing about that headache of a movie: Mujhse Dosti Karoge!
2) Bobby Deol
Yes he has done a Bichhoo and a Badal and many more forgettable movies, but he also gave us Gupt which is one of the best murder mysteries made in Bollywood! It has also has my all time favourite song. Ever.
3) Amrita Arora
She starred in the cult movie Girlfriend. #NuffSaid
4) Sohail Khan
Sohail Khan is fun you guys! Forget about Aryan, I Proud To Be An Indian and the innumerable insufferable movies he has done and focus all your energy on Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya! Especially this song:
Also, don’t forget, Sohail also directed the really awesome and grossly underrated Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya which gave us this magical song:
Because shirtless Salman Khan is the best Salman Khan!
5) Faisal Khan
Guys, Mela is a cult movie okay! Also, mela dilon ka aata ek baar, aake chala jaata hai! #NeverForget
6) Tanishaa Mukerjee
Two words: Neal and Nikki. Actually those are three words but nevermind. Plus Tanishaa Mukerjee killed it in Halla Re! Let’s all dance!
7) Zayed Khan
He starred in Main Hoon Na you guys! Forget that, Zayed Khan danced to Mohabbat Hai Mirchi!
Uljhi uljhi tirchi tirchi mohabbat ki galiyaan sanam! So true Zayed, so true!
8) Rajiv Kapoor
His brothers Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor were stars in their own right (Rishi was a superstar actually) but Rajiv Kapoor gave us Ram Teri Ganga Maili! We will always remain thankful to him for that. #Blessed.
9) Arbaaz Khan
Arbaaz Khan actually had a good start in Bollywood with a negative role in Daraar, he lost the plot somewhere in the middle but then he produced Dabangg! A movie which made me feel like I’m in Bihar, even though I was in a multiplex in Bombay, only because of the whistles and catcalls during every kickass Salman Khan scene.
10) Sanjay Kapoor
I don’t need to explain Sanjay Kapoor‘s contribution to Bollywood, you can read it here! The only thing I need to say is that Sanjay Kapoor is the best Kapoor!
What do you think? Which star sibling is the one you secretly love?
