So as soon as I entered the MissMalini HQ this morning, I was hounded with questions on why Mamta Kulkarni hasn’t been featured in our blog much and I was genuinely disturbed at this travesty. Since I’ve been writing lists of great songs featuring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, how could I forget Mamta? How could I? She has the BEST songs. That’s why once I started rediscovering her songs, the list, which was supposed to have 5 songs, increased to 10. Because that’s the magic of Mamta. You can go on and on and on.
1) Beqabu Ho Gaya
This song is No. 1 (though the list is in random order) only because Mamta Kulkarni’s character name is Rashmi and this my ode to my mini-boss who coincidentally is also Rashmi. Hope and pray that some boy sings this song for you Rash, hope and pray he also looks like Sanjay Kapoor!
2) Bharo Maang Meri Bharo
I like how acrobatic she is, they’re doing everything but pyaar in this song.

Look at her seducing Sallu Bhai. Why does Sallu take so long to get impressed, though? That is the question which has no answer.
