Despite being an army brat and quite a daredevil, Anushka Sharma was left quite aghast when something happened on the sets of her forthcoming thriller flick NH10.
A source from the sets of the film said, “We were shooting during the dead of the night in Rajasthan a few months back. And suddenly, something happened that left the entire cast and crew helter skelter. We all were stuck in a sandstorm that almost blinded each of us. To our misery, the storm lasted for the entire night and our shoot was stalled. Anushka was right at the middle of a shot when it happened. A light equipment got suspended at about 100 feet in the air and was then swaying from one end to another. Poor girl was completely taken aback and was quite scared. But the strong girl that our Ms. Sharma is, she soon composed herself.”
NH10 is helmed by Navdeep Singh, the director of another popular thriller Manorama Six Feet Under. So it’s only natural that an event like this had a spine-chilling effect on everyone who was intently involved in the making of this film.
The movie is named after the national highway that starts from Delhi and ends at the Pakistan border in Punjab. And its story seems to be woven around a journey on this road. The movie also stars the critically acclaimed actor Neil Bhoopalam and we think it would be rather interesting to watch this young and talented duo in this movie? After all, it’s intriguing storyline is bound to attract the masses to the theatres. It might not be a commercially viable movie but it definitely seems to be one of most daring choices of Anushka Sharma in terms of her movies.
