Finding Fanny has opened to great reviews and critical appreciation last weekend. The film tells the story of five oddballs who take a road trip in a quest to find Fanny. While the movie has pleased the critics and audiences alike, it is the portrayal of each character by the actors that has become the talk of the town.
Arjun Kapoor played the role of Savio in the film effortlessly. But what if we tell you that he wasn’t the first choice for this role?
That’s right! Directer Homi Adjania never envisioned Arjun in Savio’s shoes till the very end. According to the rumours doing the rounds currently, it was Imran Khan that was approached to be part of the film. Imran, however, turned the offer down. Apparently, even though Imran absolutely loved the plot of the film, he did not think Savio’s character was well etched out or had too much to do in the film.
It is only then that Homi considered other actors for Savio, out of which Arjun was chosen.
Well, now that Finding Fanny is such a success and Arjun Kapoor’s role is so appreciated, we wonder what Imran Khan has to say – provided the rumours are true, of course.
