Five days of Lakmé Fashion Week came to a close with Manish Malhotra‘s show. The most eagerly anticipated show from the lot, Manish’s grand finale was exactly that – an extravagantly grand affair. With A list celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Esha Gupta, Kajol and Karan Johar in attendance, he had not just one, but two show stoppers. The stylist in Manish Malhotra came out to play as the collections featured highly stylised sari gowns, lehengas in the form of flowing skirts, one shoulder tops with lehengas and the highlight (for me at least), a cape duppatta. We had a chance to speak to showstopper, Kareena Kapoor Khan before the show and here’s what she had to say.
Malhotra’s show was all about the new age bride, in keeping with that, here are 5 designs we absolutely loved.
But like we mentioned, Kareena wasn’t the only showstopper, Varun Dhawan strut his stuff down the runway as well.
