Varun Bahl went ahead and gave us some of the Indo-Western fusion we were waiting for. His collection at Lakmé Fashion Week this season, which was also his 10th year at LFW, showcased a smooth mix of biker jackets but, wait for it, with Bahl’s signature floral embroidery. While the embroidery come forward as the traditional element in the collection, the silhouettes were mainly kept western with shift dresses, high waist trousers (on Priyanka Chopra, no less!) and even some embroidered and sequinned track-pants. Since the jackets remained as the highlight of the entire show, here are 5 we absolutely love!
This look didn’t have a jacket, but it’s one my wardrobe definitely wants!
