It was opulence at its best during Outhouse’s show at Lakmé Fashion Week this season. Inspired by the glory of Greece and the grandeur of Rome, the gilded collection was infused with semi-precious stones like Amber, Turquoise, Pearls and others. With ornaments so regal, once you put them on, your outfit might cease to matter. They’ll automatically assume the limelight, and that’s exactly what they were made for. The sparklers adorned geometric garments by Jatin Verma, and when you look at them put together, it created a grand picture. They might have ventured into unwearable territory towards the end, but nonetheless, here are 5 pieces we loved.
