They say that most artists usually have a heart of gold. Popular Bollywood playback singer Kailash Kher is a perfect example of that. The sufi sensation was recently at Wagah Border to perform for a channel for a special show on Independence Day.
And apparently, after his performance and the regular Retreat Parade, Kher was strolling across the border area. When he reached the entrance to Pakistan with Indian IG-DIG and other officers, the Pakistani soldiers and officers expressed their desire to meet him.
The humble guy that he is, Kailash promptly agreed. Not only did he meet them but also chatted away with the Pakistani Army men for quite sometime. However, the singer was so engrossed in the conversation that he crossed the border and stepped into Pakistan without realizing.
When the officers on duty told him about the same, Kailash began to apologize profusely. But the Pakistani officer said ‘No problem, music knows no boundary,’ and shook hands with the singer. Soon the crowd from both the countries started cheering for Kailash.
We’re sure it must have been a memorable moment for Kailash!
