We all know that Emraan Hashmi started his career by working with the Bhatt camp! Who can forget his performance in Murder, that literally took everyone in Bollywood by surprise? The actor has accepted time and again that he is where he is today because of his uncle, Mahesh Bhatt‘s belief in him, and the film’s he’s done with the producer. But it turns out that all is not well between this uncle-nephew duo as Mahesh Bhatt is rather miffed with the Jannat actor!
Hashmi apparently allotted ten days to the makers of Raja Natwarlal because it’s close to its release, while ignoring Bhatt’s film Mr. X. The actor was originally supposed to have worked on the action thriller Mr. X and wrap up the shoot in ten days, but obviously that’s not possible now given Emraan’s date changes! This has led to uncle Bhatt being upset with him as he expected more loyalty from the actor. Not one to shy away from voicing his opinions, Bhatt said to a leading daily, “He did inform me about this change in plans but he still caught me off-guard. Without taking away from his efforts, I have to say that I am the architect of Brand Emraan. We are his parent company and deserve his loyalty more than anyone else.”
Another thing I find interesting is that the director of Raja Natwarlal, Kunal Deshmukh is also from the Bhatt camp and this is his first film outside the camp. Emraan, on the other hand, said he was only following his mentor, Bhatt’s footsteps as he told him a long time ago that at the end of the day, it was only success that matters. Hmm!
Now now now.. with all the hype around this Raja Natwarlal, this film better be good and we hope to see Bhatt’s film with Emraan on the silver screen soon enough! PS – If you haven’t checked out the trailer, here it is!
