Actor, activist, politician and Miss India are some large feathers on Gul Panag’s pretty hat so it was no surprise when she was asked to speak at the CII Young Indians Conclave in Mumbai. Gul spoke on the need for all Indians to make it a goal to directly make time to serve society in someway along with their pursuit of personal ambition to help India fly into a better tomorrow. Giving Gul company was Olympian swimmer and Arjuna Awardee, Rehan Poncha.
Rehan shared his own very inspiring story of overcoming adversity to pursue his dream and represent the country at the most prestigious of sporting arenas, as an example of the importance of daring to dream, and learning to excel. Adding more fun to this inspiring Conclave were Cyrus Broacha and Kunal Vijaykar along with some of the country’s leading business heads.
I love how Gul associates herself with such a variety of activities, some fun, some charitable, but all inspiring like this one!
