Ali Fazal is facing a case of mistaken identity these days as certain people believe that he’s Ali Zafar, the actor-singer from Pakistan! Yep, the poor guy who, by the way, will feature in the upcoming seventh instalment of the mega hit franchise Fast & Furious is being hounded by calls on a daily basis to be a part of a special Eid event to be held in Lucknow. The organizers want him to sing a song for the occasion. Not knowing that it’s Ali Fazal not Ali Zafar!

This can well be the case of same same, but different! When contacted Ali (Fazal not Zafar) he said: “I‘ve been getting calls for Ali Zafar, (laughs), is funny…. They wanted me to sing at an event.. I said, my events take place in my bathroom.. I am not Ali Zafar though, it’s Ali Fazal. The guy was quite the fighter. He thought I was dodging him.. I said we actors do that. Hehe, but not this time..”
We are sure that these two are not the only ones facing this problem. Celebs such as Akshay Kumar and Akshaye Khanna & Emraan Hashmi and Imran Khan must have faced the same issues.
Though we must say Ali (again Fazal, not Zafar) is a decent man, had one of us shared a name with some other celebrity there would be a lot of mischief which may not be managed 😉
