We love our Bollywood stars! We adore them. We like how they look, dress, talk, walk… everything! For every SRK freak, there’s a Salman follower; for every Saif fan, there’s an Akshay fanatic; and for every Big B devotee, well, there’s another one!
So what if we tell you that there are two of each?
You read that right! We have found personality doppelgängers of our favourite BTown celebs on our television sets.
1. Big B = Ronit Roy
Ronit Roy is actually often referred to as the ‘Amitabh Bachchan of the small screen’. It could have to do with the fact that he popularly sported the French beard and the name caught on. However, we feel it is because he has sort of, just like Big B himself, done it all – From Mihir Virani and Mr Bajaj to Bandini’s Dharmraj Mahivanshi to participating in Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa to hosting Kitchen Champion to playing lawyer in Adalat
2. SRK = Ram Kapoor
Ahead in the numbers game and everyone’s favourite, Ram Kapoor is the ‘King Khan’ on the tube. Just like SRK, Kapoor too has made a fairly successful transition from television to films; albeit with character roles. Of course, one can’t be a SRK doppelganger without a Gauri by his side. So, Kapoor too married his long time girlfriend Gautami and has often gone on record to say how she means the world to him!
3. Karan Kundra = Salman Khan
Karan Kundra is very popular among the girls. On the personal front, Kundra broke up with long time girlfriend Kritika Kamra that left him heartbroken. He was then rumoured to be dating every now and then; more prominently, television actor Madhura Naik and Delhi model Swati Vatsa.
Does the above sentence not remind you of the Salman-Aishwarya love affair which ended badly, post which the ladykiller Salman was linked up with many women? Well, enough said.
4. Karanvir Bohra = Akshay Kumar
Karanvir Bohra is a versatile actor just like our very own Khiladi Kumar. Onscreen, they’re both chameleons as they’ve played a variety of roles ranging from romantic to funny to grey. Off screen too, both of them are happily married to the women they love. Very popular with men and women alike, both have a cool career to boast of.
Interestingly enough, both the dudes bonded recently on the sets of Bohra’s Qubool Hai when Akshay was there to promote his film Holiday.
5. Sidhharth Shukla = Saif Ali Khan
All the ladies who saw Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya know that the TV’s laadla beta Siddharth Shukla brought really dirty thoughts in their minds. Shukla is sauve and classy and if his HSKD character is anything to go by, we think his tameez, tehzeeb and general demeanear remind us of nawaab Saif Ali Khan. Well for his sake and ours, we hope he does’t end up making the same mistakes as his doppelgänger (read : Humshakals!)
