Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, who delivered a phenomenal hit last year with Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2, have been signed on for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Milan Talkies! Their sizzling chemistry, both on screen and off-screen, was much talked about and it’s there for the world to see!
The film was originally supposed to star Imran Khan and Priyanka Chopra but Imran walked out of the project due to his issues with producer Ekta Kapoor after Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara failed to do well at the box office! Eventually, Priyanka too walked out of the film and Shahid Kapoor was roped in. This association didn’t last too long; and Dhulia, at a press conference, announced that Varun Dhawan would be a part of the film. Nobody knows what happened there! The director who hasn’t had too much luck with his casting previously, must finally be at peace after finding his lead pair in Aditya and Shraddha.
Shraddha has recently had a massive hit with Ek Villain, and Aditya’s Daawat-E-Ishq is all ready to be released! Life really has come a full circle for these two actors who started their careers with films that didn’t do well commercially and eventually came together to deliver their biggest hit! The film is set to go on floors mid 2015 and it will be interesting to see how Tigmanshu portrays these two actors on screen. Will he be able to recreate that magic on screen with them that made us go weak in our knees? What do you think?
