Last night was the much awaited live concert by music maestro A.R Rahman for the music launch of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. Indeed, it was one of the most star studded launches, featuring some of Bollywood’s biggest names in attendance. The music of the film has impressed us so far, which is why we were looking forward to this launch concert. Since we were there, we noted down 5 things that we totally loved about this event and want to share them with you!
1. A.R Rahman LIVE.
Obviously, the biggest USP of this launch was having A.R Rahman right there, live on stage! All the songs of the film were performed and well, it was a beautiful feeling to be there and experience it all.
2. Armaan Jain.
He truly has Kapoor genes! He performed on stage and I swear I could see a combination of Ranbir Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor‘s styles in him, along with his own cute self. He is indeed a debutant to look out for.
3. The Kapoor Khandaan.
The event had the whole Kapoor family, except Ranbir Kapoor in attendance (he’s shooting for Jagga Jasoos in Cape Town). We had already told you about the Kapoor sisters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor making time to attend this event for Armaan. His grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor was also there, and Armaan specified that she never goes for events but she came for him. How sweet!
4. Armaan Jain & Deeksha Seth’s pair.
They are a refreshing new pair, as we can see in all the songs of the film. Armaan and Deeksha did a little performance and they look really good together!
5. Mawwali Qawwali.
They launched the song Mawwali Qawwali and the song is super fun! Plus, Armaan has danced really well and the beats are quite catchy. He performed and launched the song after which the concert took place.
