While we recently shared with you our favourite songs of 2014. And we’re sure most of you agreed. But every now and then, there are songs that blow your mind and not in the good sense at all. We decided to pick 10 such ‘gems’ that have felt like stones pelted in our direction every time we hear them (I cringed while listing them too).
1. Icecream Khaaungi – The Xpose
Need I say more?
2. The Rocket Song – Grand Masti
Now here is a song which says there is some rocket in some pocket and someone should launch it. Why, again?
3. Chhanno – Gali Gali Chor Hai
Veena Malik is at her competitive best in this song and that’s why it had to make it to this list.
4. Dhadang Dhang – Rowdy Rathore
All the extra energy put into this song by the cast and crew of the film could have been used elsewhere. It’s an exhausting song to even listen to!
5. One Love – Rakht
Seriously, what did we do to this much loved song of Blue? Hindi lyrics and Abhishek Bachchan‘s moves trying to be all ‘swag’. Not cool.
6. The Mutton Song – Luv Ka The End
Despite various attempts to appreciate Taaha Shah‘s acting and dancing skills in this song, I just don’t get it. Neither do I understand its mere existence in the face of music. Why?
7. Dekhta Hai Tu Kya – Krazzy 4
Another precious stone in the Rakhi Sawant collection. Enough said.
8. Hotty Naughty – De dhana Dhan
This song is the perfect example of cluttering an otherwise average film for no good reason, whatsoever.
9. Jalebi Bai – Double Dhamaal
Films and their obsession with food items will always remain a mystery. In this case, it is a woman and a jalebi put together, making it even more unreasonable.
10. Tinku Jiya -Yamla Pagla Deewana
Without further ado, just one question. What does ‘tinku’ even mean?
