Dia Mirza:
All Zara Everythang!
Dia is just so gorgeous and she exudes such an easy vibe that she pretty much gets away with everything. However, we just cannot ignore those rolled up jeans. If jeans have to be rolled up, then you have to make sure they’re skinny jeans and not straight leg – and to roll them up to substitute a cropped length. The overall outfit was pretty boring, so we replaced the top with more vibrant colors for spring and an organza jacket. While there isn’t anything wrong with her shoes, she needs to have a little bit more fun with her choices and… how can you not do pastel sandals for Spring?!
Raveena Tandon:
Dress: Victoria Beckham (Net-a-Porter), Pumps: Sergio Rossi
Raveena’s look left us a bit confused, the sandals are casual but the clutch is formal and the dress is somewhere in the middle. We decided to go with the main idea of the outfit and give her an age appropriate and classic look. The sleeves on Raveena’s dress make her look boxy on the top, so we opted for a sleeveless dress with a v-neckline. Also, the fabric of Raveena’s dress is a jersey, but choosing something with a weightier fabric not only looks better, but also looks luxurious. The cohesive black pumps, with a little bit of edge, complete the look. Finally, Raveena needs a major revamp with hair hair and makeup – both things need to be brought into the ‘now’. The hair looks stiff, so we suggest styling it to have more movement.
Sonakshi Sinha:
Top: J.W. Anderson (Moda Operandi), Booties: Zara, Earring: Givenchy (Net-a-Porter)
Overalls have had a major upgrade, the skinny leg makes them sleek – which we love. So, when we saw Sonakshi in a pair, we were excited to see her sporting this trend but the styling left us underwhelmed. We replaced her top to add more interest to the outfit. Also, the loose shape of the shirt makes the look modern and balances out the lowered suspenders – that draw the eye to the hip. Our biggest issue with this look is that the overalls aren’t rolled up with the boots so we chose a bootie and recommend that the jeans are rolled up – this breaks up the look and is more pleasing to the eye. The pink booties are for our own gratification – just look at them! Last but not least, we think that she should go with a tousled, center-part hairstyle ala Khloe that works better with the rest of the look.
