Kangana Ranaut is riding a high right now thanks to the great success of her most recent film, Queen. All eyes have now been on her next release, Revolver Rani, which promises to be something a little out-of-the-box as well – which Kangana has come to be known for. However, the film has run into a spot of trouble since the editor has walked out of the film, thus leaving the makers in a lurch with raw footage. Now, the main question is – will they be able to get the film finished on time for their April 25th release date?
According to Mirror, the film’s original editor, Shan Mohammed, left the project because he wasn’t getting paid. He did a bit of work on Revolver Rani, but decided to walk out at the end of February when he wasn’t receiving his dues despite repeatedly asking. The makers seem to have tried to reason with him, but he was adamant about being given the money promised. Eventually, it seems like the team has decided to hire Aarti Bajaj to edit the film, and she is currently working on crunch time to ensure the film gets completed.
The director of Revolver Rani, however, told Mirror that there were no money issues and Aarti was approached because he wanted “a different point of view.” Shan Mohammed, though, told the paper that he expects to be paid when working on a film.
So will Revolver Rani end up releasing on time? That’s something we are going to have to wait and see!
