Unlike movies, television is typically known to be all about the women. Be it Tara or Shanti to Tulsi or Parvati, reel life female characters are a huge part of the lives of Indian women. But there are some actors who have managed to hold their ground against their female counterparts in TV shows.
I mean, how can we forget the frenzy when Ekta Kapoor killed off Mihir Virani, played by Amar Upadhyay in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and had to bring him back from dead, defying all logic. There are a new crop of actors every year. While some are just one-show wonders, some of them are unfazed by the new competition.
With so many shows across channels, trying to pick just 10 is a difficult task. Ram Kapoor in Bade Ache Lagte Hai, Gautam Rode in Saraswatichandra to Harshad Arora in Beintehaa – all of them are quite loved.
Then there are some who have moved to the big screen – Karan Singh Grover, Rajeev Khandelwal, Sushant Singh Rajput and very recently Karan Kundra.
