The latest in the lineup of Bollywood stars to lend their voice to People for Ethical Treatment of Animals is the critically acclaimed actress, Richa Chadda.
The Fukrey and Ram-Leela star exhorts her fans to give up eating seafood and tells us, “Fish have the same capacity to suffer and feel pain as dogs and cats have, and they do not want to die. If you love animals, the best thing you can do is not eat them.”
The campaign was shot by Rohan Shrestha and her mermaid outfit was designed by StyleCracker.
Not since Daryl Hannah created a Splash on the big screen in 1984 have we seen a sexier mermaid.
And then, of course, in 1989, Walt Disney pictures came out with the animated classic, The Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen‘s fairy tale.
