The Times Good Food Awards are an annual event spearheaded by food critic Rashmi Uday Singh and lauds some of the best chefs, bakeries and restaurants in the business. The guest list was a mix of celebrities and socialites. We spotted a few people who looked rather spiffy in their outfits while some were… err let’s just say in need of a dire makeover.
Jacqueline Fernandez in Dolce & Gabbana
Jacqueline Fernandez looked stunning in a red lace Dolce & Gabbana gown. Her hair was styled into a sleek ponytail and she sported some merlot hued lips. I’m not such a fan of the lip shade, I would have preferred it if she wore the lips with something black or white.
Sunny Leone in Mayyur R Girotra
Sunny Leone chose a Mayyur R Girotra beige chiffon gown that had a lovely fusion blend. I love the mandarin collar and brocade bodice.
Shazahn Padamsee
I love Shazahn Padamsee’s monochrome halter neck. A pop of colour came via her coral lipstick and matching nails. I just wish instead of the silver and black clutch, she chose something smaller instead.
Evelyn Sharma in Sailex
The Nautanki Saala actress picked a pink gown from Sailex to wear to the Awards. The hot pink looked great on Evelyn Sharma but I wish the fit was better especially around her bust. Her hair could also have done with a quick blow dry.
Sophie Choudry in BCBG Max Azria
Sophie Choudry wore an outfit from one of her favourite designers, BCBG Max Azria. Her outfit had a leather bodice and black chiffon skirt with a mullet hem that she accessorized with a Farah Khan necklace. Smokey eyes and a low bun were the perfect accompaniment to this ensemble.
