Now this made our morning. Industrywalla just recounted a funny story for us when Salman Khan was asked to take a ‘selfie’ on sets recently. Unfortunately, the actor didn’t understand the term and was most confused! Here’s what Industrywalla wrote in to say:
Industrywalla says: “Selfie what?” That’s what Salman Khan asked someone when a bunch of fan girls ran up to him recently to take a photo! The results were hilarious, because Salman was stumped when they said they wanted to take a ‘selfie’ with him. The actor was not aware of what the word meant, so he had to ask a friend of his on set to explain what a selfie is. As for the fans – he even joked with these girls and asked them why they need to come up with such cryptic words when all they can say is ‘photo’!
On Koffee With Karan, Aamir Khan was stumped too when presented with Internet lingo, although his wife, Kiran Rao, did a great job of identifying everything. You think these two superstars need to take some lessons from her to catch up with the times?!
