Shiamak Davar and Prabhudheva are two of the biggest names in the Indian dance industry, but what happens when the two of them come together? You won’t have to wait too long to find out, because Prabhudheva has done a dance performance at the recently-held Star Guild Awards, which Shiamak himself has choreographed. The performance was a mix of their two dance styles – Shiamak’s “indo contemporary” and Prabhudheva’s classic Michael Jackson style.
Shiamak Davar says:
“Everyone has always seen Prabhu Deva doing his unique style, but this time I decided to make his act look completely different. It was a pleasure working with him. So humble and extremely talented in his style of dance.”
The dance performance is a mix of popular hits, and Shiamak has added in a bit of fusion as well as given the whole act a classical twist. It’ll be interesting to see something like this, which brings together two talented people from within the same industry. When the choreographer gets choreographed, you know? We’re looking forward to it – we’ll anyway take any excuse we get to watch Prabhudheva dance, and if he’s being choreographed by Shiamak, then better yet!
