Those of you who caught Dhoom: 3 over the weekend would have realised that Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif shared a quick, fleeting kiss during one scene of the film. Definitely no where near as sizzling as some other kisses we’ve seen recently in our Bollywood movies (though it was probably not intended to be so). Still, it’s a testament for how much of a perfectionist Aamir is that he insisted that even this quick kiss be done properly. In fact, Industrywalla told us that they had to shoot the scene multiple times before it was finally locked down, apparently because Aamir was not too happy with Katrina’s performance. Ouch!
Industrywalla says: Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif’s kiss in Dhoom: 3 did not really live up to the expectations that people may have had of it. Someone I know who was present on set during the shoot revealed to me that the scene was shot more than a couple of times, and Katrina actually ended up having to do some retakes. It seems that Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan was not too happy with Katrina’s expressions in the scene, and as a result asked her to keep retaking it until he was satisfied with what they finally ended up with. Obviously, I am now wondering what Katrina Kaif’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, thought when he first heard of this incident! 😉
